UCL LCCOS Staff Summer School 2024 – Entire programme now available

The UCL LCCOS Staff Summer School is a series of training and development sessions, events and online activities aimed at staff from across LCCOS, to support their ability to answer enquiries and to provide support, training and advocacy to users and stakeholders. Sessions are generally delivered by colleagues, so we can share our expertise.
The programme for this year is now complete and all sessions are open for bookings, including a session on Monday 10 June for anyone interested in finding out more about demonstrating their professionalism in library and information work through CILIP professional registration (ACLIP, MCLIP) and revalidation.

- Making reading materials more accessible (Online session, Friday 5 July 2024, 12:00 – 13:00)
- What’s so special about Special Collections? (Face to face session, Tuesday 9 July, 10.00 – 12.00)
- Copyright refresher and Q & A (Face to face session, Wednesday 10 July 2024, 11:00 – 12:45)
- One-to-one consultations: an exploration of approaches and best practice (Online session, Friday 12 July 2024, 10:30 – 11:50)
- What are we doing to Liberate our Collections? What does this mean to us? What does it mean to you? (Online session. Monday 15 July, 10.00 – 11.30)
- Using AI to assist the search process (Online session, Thursday July 18, 2024, 14:00 – 15:20)
- Supporting NHS staff: library updates (Online session, Tuesday 23 July 2024, 10:00 – 12:00)
- What are we doing to Liberate our Collections? What does this mean to us? What does it mean to you? (Face to face session, Wednesday 24 July, 11.00 – 12.30)

If you do not already have access, please get the enrolment key. Sessions are open to all UCL Library Services staff, with approval from your line manager.
