Focus on Management is a three-day course packed full of activities that will offer you an interactive and rewarding immersion into the world of business. Your team-working, problem-solving and presentation skills will be put to the test as you work in small groups to crack a range of business challenges.
On day one, you’ll focus on management essentials and the skills you need to stand out in the workplace. On days two & three, you will work in teams, facilitated by a team manager, on business case studies from four major graduate employers. The team managers, from a variety of organisations, trial different managerial styles over the two days giving you the chance to experience what is most effective.
This year GSK, a leading global healthcare company, is again sponsoring and contributing to the course. GSK actively recruit talented UCL students from all disciplines to help their business develop and market innovative products across pharmaceuticals, vaccines and consumer healthcare.
But don’t just take our word for it – see what last year’s students said: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmCZXkRLHnE
You will get plenty of opportunities across the three days to meet and learn from different companies. Last year included contributions from ICAEW, GSK, Civil Service and KPMG.
