Among the Colours was a collaborative exhibition of Estelle Thompson, Acting Head of Graduate Painting and Jo Volley, Deputy Director (Projects) and Senior Lecturer in Painting in 2017. The exhibition presented two site-specific wall works exploring colour and surface installed in the North Lodge, UCL from February 3 to March 10, 2017.

Colour is significant in both artists’ practices. Estelle Thompson’s large acrylic wall work relates to her work as an abstract painter and Jo Volley’s wall pigments further explore aspects of the Pigment Timeline (currently on display in the UCL North Cloisters) and the Material Research Project.
