Honorary Research Associates

Introduction

The title of Honorary Research Associate is awarded to individuals involved in research and collaborative projects at UCL. The Honorary Research Associate of the Material Research Project at the Slade is a role annually bestowed upon a practitioner by co-directors of the Material Research Project, Jo Volley from 2010 – present and Gary Woodley from 2010 to 2019 and the Head of Graduate Painting. Since the inception of the Discourse Project in 2014, Estelle Thompson, Director, has bestowed the role of HRA upon a practitioner in support of the Discourse Project.
