UCL now has access to Linguistic Minorities in Europe Online (LME) from De Gruyter.

Linguistic Minorities in Europe Online provides comprehensive documentation of indigenous and immigrant linguistic minorities in Europe.

LME contains a variety of content and materials:

• Standardized overview articles on a given linguistic minority on a variety of topics, including but not limited to linguistic description, variation, attitudes, demographics, status, education and revitalization.
• In-depth research articles on specific topics regarding European minority languages/linguistic minorities, including sociolinguistic, psycholinguistic, and ethnolinguistic perspectives
• Multimedia elements (audios, videos, images)
• Primary sources, such as annotated texts, transcriptions, corpora, glossaries, field notes, etc. (Open Access as well as non-Open Access)

Currently, LME contains, amongst others, articles on Basque, Breton, Croatian, Frisian, Hungarian, Irish, the Sámi languages, and Turkish as minority languages (content about further languages is in preparation). New articles will be added annually (in two yearly updates).

Preqin tracks the largest organisations that invest in Hedge Funds and their Assets under Management figures, Investment vehicle launches from different geographies globally, plus Investor Allocations.

The Hedge Fund data includes:

• Fund coverage: 47,509
• Active firm coverage: 9,236
• Performance coverage: 33, 553
• Fundraising coverage: 28,065

With this data users can track key metrics such as Monthly Performance of some funds, and also generate benchmarks which can be customised

Orbis: Bureau van Dijk ’s global database with information on over 450 million public and private companies including, banks, vessels, insurance, and industrial companies covering 220+ countries. This product includes all the data which was previously in Amadeus and Osiris. These two products will be retiring in the new year.

UCL students and staff now have access to APA PsycTherapy via Ovid.  APA PsycTherapy is a clinical and counseling video training library featuring hundreds of videos of therapists and patients in counseling sessions.

The database includes:

• Sessions conducted by 150 master therapists

UCL students and staff now have access to Irish Newspaper Archives

Irish Newspaper Archives covers Irish newspapers from both North and South of the Irish border dating from 1738 to the present day. It contains over 9 million pages of content from 106 publications. The archive is updated daily with current full colour newspaper and legacy archive content. Newspapers offer a view of historical events and through regional and national newspaper titles researchers will be able to compare the county view versus the city view of any given topic.

Lexis+ UK is the new platform for LexisLibrary and Lexis International.

Lexis+ UK is the UK’s largest legal research database, containing unique content such as Halsbury’s Laws of England, Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia and Atkins’s Court Forms, specialist practitioner texts and a collection of enriched Case law. The new platform also includes Lexis International Content

Some users may have data, such as alerts, saved searches and bookshelf sources, from LexisLibrary that they wish to transfer over. To enable your data to be migrated to Lexis+ please use the following microsite created to enable this Please note, you must access this microsite in incognito/InPrivate browser of your choice. Users will have their data migrated within 3 working days. Users’ alert will continue to be run on LexisLibrary until the end of November to allow time to undertake this process (once the user migrates their data the old Alerts stop).
