Progress Update – 1 to 7 October 2016

Hi there. We’re back again with the stats – this time for the first week of October. Our volunteers are continuing to work on the manuscripts at an impressive pace. Our thanks go out, as always, to everyone who has been transcribing recently.

While we’re here, there’s exciting news for new and regular volunteers – 7 boxes of Bentham material have just been uploaded to the Transcription Desk. These boxes contain Bentham’s correspondence and his writings on ethics, politics and legal reform. Check out our blog post to find out more.

Back to the stats. 16,836 manuscript pages have now been transcribed or partially-transcribed, which is an increase of 50 on last week’s total. Of these transcripts, 15,871 (94%) have been checked and approved by TB staff.
