Jewish Biographical Archive Online

UCL has a trial of the Jewish Biographical Archive Online until 30 November 2009.

This resource contains biographical information on 154,000 persons, beginning in Biblical times and ending in the end of the 20th century.  The Biblical patriarchs and matriarchs are among the earliest people included, whilst the period covered closes with personalities such as David Ben Gurion, Pearl Adler and Ehud Barak.
