Part of the UCL Grand Challenges Research Summer School is hearing about UCL researchers who have successsfully carried out their own cross-disciplinary research projects.
The 2015 summer school included contributions from the Geography, Pharmacy, The Institute of Education, The Bartlett School of Architecture, The Development Planning Unit and the Centre for Behaviour Change.
Students at the summer school heard how video ethnography can be used to study decsion making by surgeons, why an understanding of human behaviour is essential to make organisations more environmentally sustainable and how our understanding of suburbs can be enriched by taking multiple disciplinary approaches.
