The aim of this session included data collection from the participants’ fieldwork diaries and revising the process involved in object documentation, as well as beginning to think about staging an exhibition. Session four began with presentations and feedback on the fieldwork diaries produced by members of the Great Lakes Initiative. This was followed by a presentation of the roadmap for the exhibition and UCL’s Great Lakes anthropology collection by Delphine Mercier. Finally, the participants took part in a brainstorming session to decide on a theme and title for the exhibition. The group were asked to consider the spatial constraints of the display cases that will be used for the exhibition, what the message of the exhibition would be, how they would use the objects in the exhibition and who will be their audience.

The next session will take place at UCL Anthropology June 6, 2015.
