Swine flu

For those looking for an emerging social science/STS perspective on swine flu, the Vital Systems Security blog is an excellent place to start. Its one of a series of blogs within the Anthropology of the Contemporary research collaboratory run by a UC Berkeley based group. It has long been considering questions of biosecurity, disease surveillance and the like, and has recently sprung into action. Interesting discussions are developing around security, preparedness and the severity or otherwise of pandemic flu.
