We are embarking on an exciting new project in the Co-Production and Public Engagement team, and are looking for UCL staff or students to join a project to join a co-production team to develop an online co-production training course.

Supported by the Research Culture Seed Fund, this project will develop an online, self-directed module for the UCL community to better understand best practice in co-production and identify ways to embed it into their work.

There will be two workshops to help shape the training content, with the option to also be involved in recording the voiceover for the course if you are interested. You will join a co-production group made up of public members of Co-Production Collective and other members of the UCL community

We are particularly looking for UCL researchers and PhD students to be involved in this project.

To express an interest in participating in this project, please contact us with a short paragraph outlining your name, your role at UCL and what you believe you will bring to the project. This will help us shortlist between those who have expressed an interest in participating. Your response should be no longer than 200 words.

My name is Jhono Bennett, and I am a researcher and educator at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, specializing in spatial justice, reparative design, and participatory methodologies. My work focuses on the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and public engagement, particularly in collaborative and community-driven design processes. I believe my experience in co-designing research and pedagogical frameworks that engage diverse stakeholders—ranging from academia to grassroots organizations—aligns well with the aims of this project.

I am particularly interested in contributing to shaping the training content and exploring how co-production can be meaningfully integrated into research and practice at UCL. Additionally, I would be happy to support the voiceover recording if needed.
