About NRM

The Network for Multimodal Research is a UCL hub for researchers at UCL and beyond who are interested in multimodality. It aims to provide a platform for dialogue and collaboration for advancing  multimodal research across disciplines, with a particular emphasis on communication and learning.

It is a space for networking, creating opportunities for scholars to share ideas, reflections and research. The network provides a space for publicising information about relevant talks, workshops, conferences and symposia across the world.

This blog was initiated in 2023 by Sophia Diamantopoulou in an attempt to continue the work of the UCL Centre for Multimodal Research further to its closing. The blog is designed by Henrika Florén and it is co-maintained by the UCL team of the Visual and Multimodal Research.
