Mentimeter is a survey and polling presentation tool that can be used to gauge the opinions or knowledge of your students. It provides a selection of question types and enables users to view live feedback.

Mentimeter is now available to all UCL staff.  UCL’s Mentimeter Resource Centre provides training and guidance to get you started.

Login to Mentimeter

To access Mentimeter, follow the steps listed below:

• Go to mentimeter.com/join/ucl
• Enter your UCL username and password and select Log In

If you are prompted to enter Your Company name, type ‘UCL’ into the text box and continue to login as above

If you are prompted to enter your email address and password when attempting to login, select Log in with Single Sign On (SSO) instead and follow the steps above.

The MBBS Technology Unit, will be running a series of short online training sessions to support moving to online teaching for UCL Medical School.

Sessions start Wednesday 10th June, last 1 hour (2-3pm) and cover topics such as:

• Getting the most out of Powerpoint – (17th June 2020 recording)
• Creating Moodle Quizzes – (24th June 2020 recording)
• Using Mentimeter with Blackboard Collaborate – (1st July 2020 recording)
• A short guide to online teaching with Moodle – (8th July 2020 recording)
• Getting started with Blackboard Collaborate – 15th July 2020
• Getting the most out of Powerpoint – 24th July 2020
• Creating Moodle Quizzes – 29th July 2020

All sessions will be run using Blackboard Collaborate
