It’s an often stated fact that anyone embarking on a career these days is likely to re-train at least 5 times…”jobs for life” are simply a thing of the past.

At UCL we’ve got loads to offer those who want to invest in their careers to do their jobs better, learn something interesting or find out something new to tell people down the pub….that’s why we have decided to invite our huge community of experts to guest blog to answer some of those burning questions that we have always wanted the answers to, but never quite managed to pluck up the courage to ask (for fear of ridicule).  I’m talking about things like, “Why is yawning contagious?”, or “Does water spin down the plug hole in the opposite direction in the Southern hemisphere?”
