UCL Library Services is pleased to let you know that the central sites card catalogue has been digitised and can now be searched online at http://cardcat.ucl.ac.uk.

The card catalogue forms a record of items acquired by UCL Library Services until the early 1980s, when the computerised catalogue began. Many of the items recorded in the card catalogue will be housed in the Library’s Special Collections or off-site Store.

A continuous programme of adding records to eUCLid, the online catalogue, is in place. Therefore, it is advisable to use eUCLid first to look for material currently held by any part of the Library.

Further instructions on how to use the digitised card catalogue can be found at http://cardcat.ucl.ac.uk.
