Following the successful pilot of career surgeries for Professional Services and Technical staff at the Institute of Ophthalmology, we’re pleased to be able to offer a series of career surgeries for any Professional Services and Technical staff member in the Faculty of Brain Sciences.  

This is a chance to discuss your career plans and get one-to-one advice. In feedback gathered from the Institute of Ophthalmology, 100% of candidates agreed these surgeries gave them the confidence to move forward in their careers, and all would recommend them to colleagues.

The Faculty will offer three surgeries each month, each lasting 45 minutes from January to June. Surgeries in January will be tailored toward those interested in HR, February will focus on education, and March surgeries will focus on those interested in Finance. April, May, and June sessions will be confirmed next year.

Please send your CV/employment history at least one week before your session to the Faculty EDI Team at fbs.edi@ucl.ac.uk. Each session will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, however, there will be a waiting list form to fill in if your desired slot has been allocated elsewhere.
