The Centre for Law and the Environment acts as a focal point for the study of environmental law at University College London.
Taught Graduate (LLM) Programme
The LLM at UCL Laws provides a platform for students who wish either to acquire expertise in subject areas that are central to an understanding of how law works in a global environment or who wish to pursue doctoral studies at a later date. Our LLM attracts students from all parts of the world. Over the last few years more than 50 countries have been represented, providing students from the UK and abroad with unique opportunities for formal and informal critical comparative analysis.

LLM Specialist Degree – Environmental Law and Policy
The Centre offers a range of environmental law courses as part of its Environmental Law and Policy Specialist Degree, which provides a thorough understanding of the nature of environmental problems and the legal responses to them. Centre for Law and the Environment Policy Seminars
The Centre also organises a number of policy seminars on in the winter and spring terms where leading figures in the legal and policy field are invited to give insights on their work and experience.
