A Future in Government and Policy: Employer Forum for PhDs and Researchers
5:30pm – 7:30pm on 28 January 2014
The aim of this event is to help PhD and other research students with their career planning by providing an opportunity to question, to hear from and network with employers from the Campaigning and Policy sector who are PhD holders themselves. The panel of speakers will give tips on how research students can use their qualifications and experiences to enter this field as well as information about their sector.

Richard Malham – Senior Policy Officer, Academy of Medical Sciences
Gillian Mann – Senior Health Adviser, Department for International Development
Farrah Bhatti – Second Clerk to the Transport Committee, House of Commons
Matthew Colahan – Senior Research Executive, Ipsos MORI
Cecile Morales – Research Officer, Ministry of Justice, Youth Justice Analysis Programme (Civil Service Fast Stream)
Caroline Harper – Research Fellow and Programme Leader of Social Development, Overseas Development Institute
