Risk and resilience in radically redefined information environments




This research is being led by a core research team based at UCL, Department of Information Studies.

Dr Alison Hicks is a Lecturer and Programme Director, Library and Information Studies. Her research examines questions of risk, and how information literacy shapes the ways in which we perceive and mitigate threats within everyday, academic, workplace and health contexts.
Professor Annemaree Lloyd is Chair, Department of Information Studies. Her research explores the intersection between information, learning, practice and culture. Professor Lloyd is engaged with theoretical and empirical work associated with information practice, information literacy, and landscape methodology.
Maud Cooper is a MA student at UCL studying Library and Information Studies. Her interest lies in studying the information practices of working artists, as well as the wider field of information literacy. She is the research assistant on this project.
