Thank you on behalf of everyone who attended the WCGS Science conference, for your brilliant and engaging lecture on the origins of the universe through to the evolution of complex brains. It was a fascinating and exceptionally well-illustrated journey – the use of the ‘washing line’, images and ‘glue for forces’ analogy was very clever and made the lecture thoroughly accessible to both scientists and non-scientists. The introduction highlighting different cultures beliefs about the origins of the universe was particularly interesting and the historical perspective it provided was very powerful.
