An Exhibition and Symposium surrounding the concept of Faith
March 2017, Austin Forum, Hammersmith

“Faith: Graduate Painting at Austin Forum” was a group exhibition of 1st and 2nd year Graduate Painting students, Honorary Research Associates, visiting artists and Slade staff, organised and curated by Estelle Thompson at Austin Forum in west London in 2017. It also included a one-day symposium with Guest speakers.

Speakers included the following.

Ted Dwane – Bassist from Grammy award winning band Mumford and Sons
David Gryn – Founder of Daata Editions, Artprojx and curator of film, Art Basel
Fra Gianni Notarianni O.S.A – Founder and director of Austin Forum, artist and Parish Priest at St Augustine’s Church.
Lord Dennis Stevenson – Active member of the House of Lords, Former Chairman of Tate, and founder of MQ: Transforming Mental Health.
Estelle Thompson – Artist and Slade Graduate Painting tutor.
