Our Special Interest Group (SIG) for Mathematics Education is a forum to support those engaged in research, teacher education and curricular design within the field of mathematics education.
What do we do?
Our main activities are:
- informal talks and reading groups, to share information and build a dialogue of constructive criticism
- a seminar programme, attracting leading researchers in mathematics education
- supporting members in the process of writing research proposals and seeking funding for research.
Who can join us?
Most group members are based at the UCL Institute of Education. But academics and research students working in the field of Mathematics Education, from anywhere in the world, can join. Membership is free and there is no joining procedure. Just turn up to our events and follow our blog, when you can.
