New UCL search bar for our public website

By Robert Drinkall, on 19 November 2014

Dear colleagues,

On 20th November, ISD Web & Mobile Services is rolling out new and improved search functionality to Silva sites along with an updated version of the global masthead that’s been available on the UCL homepage for some time.

This means that the search box in the left-hand navigation of our public website will be removed and the new global masthead with search box in the top right-hand corner will appear instead.

Some example screenshots are available below.

Regards,

Rob

The new version of the UCL Library Services public website is now live. A big thanks to everyone who helped us to put it together.

Chris and I will be checking it through in case there are any issues following the migration but if you spot anything which looks amiss in the meantime please let us know via lib-websupport@ucl.ac.uk

Regards,

Rob

Dear colleagues,

I’ll send out an update when I hear back from them about how they are progressing.

New website: have your say

By Robert Drinkall, on 9 July 2014

Dear colleagues,

On 1st September 2014 a new version of our public website will launch after many months of collaborative effort.

We’re nearly finished and are still fine-tuning but during July we’d like everyone to have their say about its design, content, structure or any other aspect of it which you feel you want to tell us about.

The new version of the site can be seen here:
