Wilkins Building Infrastructure Project

We have received confirmation from the contractor with regards to work taking place in the Wilkins Building next week.

A cold water storage tank is being installed in room B15D, which is forming part of the Wilkins Infrastructure project, this is working towards a permanent solution to the heating issues within the building, which will include the Main Library.

This work will be taking place over 3 days, the 4^th, 5^th & 6^th of April 2022, with pipe works also being installed in the following areas, JBR and surrounding toilet area, which requires these toilets being closed for the duration of the works, the old Refectory and an office off of the North Cloisters.

There will be some localised noise disruption, possibly, permeating through to the Main Library and Information Point areas.
