The graduatepic Research Grid will be temporarily moving up onto the second floor of the Main Library.

From November 7th the Main Library will be home to the Research Grid while refurbishment works to create an improved graduate Research Grid in the Science Library continue.

The temporary move will permit the start of urgent works for a new SEnIT suite in the Wilkins Building basement, delivering improved access to I.T workroom facilities for students with disabilities.

About the new temporary Research Grid

There will be a bookable seminar room, kettle, water dispenser and lockers. The new Grid will remain for the use of graduate students only.

The Main Library Research Grid will be found in rooms 224, 225 and 235 (seminar room), and will have the same opening hours as the Main Library. For graduate students looking for extended opening hours over the weekend the Graduate Hub will remain open 24/7.

The seminar room, once open, will be bookable via e-mail request to the Library Service Assistant team: lib-services@ucl.ac.uk
