The Centre Assistant will report to and work in collaboration with the Director of Centre for law and the environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teaching and research activities of the Centre for Law and the Environment.

This appointment will be fixed-term appointment 0.2 FTE until 30th September 2017 in the first instance and is available immediately.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate must be educated to at least degree level and demonstrate practical or educational experience in environmental law, as well as an interest in further developing his/her environmental law expertise. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with legal professionals and academic and support staff both internally and externally is essential.
