Anthropolitan’s last issue highlights the lantern slides collection
Jane Pettitt, 1st Year BSc Anthropology, was part of the volunteers’team this year. She worked on the photo collection and then did some documentation research on objects. She wrote a paper in the Anthropolitan’s last issue. It is focused on what we call the “Military box”, 35 lantern slides (the lantern slides collection is made of 1500 items) showing damages made by gas during WW1 and ways to avoid them. This box was used to train population when they were signs of WW2. Many Thanks to Jane and to Alicka Machurich who works with her for their study!
