BMJ Best Practice App

By Abir Mukherjee, on 19 June 2015

This post is a brief set of instructions for UCL medical students trying to download the BMJ Best Practice App:-

  • Create a personal Best Practice username and password first, whilst on a UCL computer.
  • Accessing Best Practice on a UCL computer should recognise UCL as your home institution on the right hand side of the screen. The exact URL is http://bestpractice.bmj.com/best-practice/mybp/mybp.html.
  • Alternatively, choose BMJ (Best Practice) from the databases list via the UCL Library website.
  • Once you’ve registered on the Best Practice site, you can then use that username and password when logging into the app. You should not then need to enter an institutional login, although you may need to download the app contents on site (this may take up to 10 mins for all topics to update / download).
