If you haven’t already heard, UCL is now on Apples’ iTunes U. Users of iTunes can now download and view from a growing pool of lectures and presentations, and then be able to view or listen to these from, potentially, anywhere.
We’re currently really excited about the possibilities of where this technology could lead. Students could re-listen to lectures on their way home; users from around the world could watch lunch-time lectures without having to arrive in central London; researchers can promote work by sharing presentations, interviews, etc. in a popular and public environment… and the list goes on.
