17,000 pages transcribed… and counting!

We’re here with happy news to lift those Monday blues! As of the past week (28 October to 4 November 2016), our volunteers have now worked on over 17,000 manuscript pages!
We passed 16,000 pages back in June, meaning our volunteers have got through 1000 pages in less than 6 months! This is a huge achievement and another stepping stone on the path to making Bentham’s manuscripts accessible to all. We need to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to our volunteers for their dedication and hard work.
The exact statistics are here. 17,020 manuscript pages have now been transcribed or partially-transcribed, which is an increase of 45 on last week’s total. Of these transcripts, 16,055 (94%) have been checked and approved by TB staff.
