Progress update, 12 to 18 December 2015

Welcome along to the final progress update for 2015, during which time further excellent progress has been made by TB volunteers.

14,707 manuscript pages have now been transcribed or partially-transcribed, which is an increase of 75 on last week’s total. At the present rate of transcription, the 15,000th transcript should be worked at some point towards the end of January! Of these transcripts, 13,715 (93%) have been checked and approved by TB staff.

UCL closes for the Christmas and new year break on Wednesday 23 December, and re-opens on Monday 4 January. During this time, the Transcription Desk will remain fully available but we will be unable to check transcripts. The first progress update of 2016 will be issued on Friday 8 January.
