Progress update, 7 to 13 July 2012

Welcome to the progress update for the period 7 to 13 July 2012, during which further excellent progress has been made.

3,874 manuscripts have now been transcribed or partially transcribed, an increase of 42 on last week’s total. Of these, 3,637 are now complete and locked, up 53 on this time last week.

The more detailed state of progress is as follows:

  • Box 2: 332 manuscripts transcribed of 532 (62%)
  • Box 27: 342 of 350 (97%)
  • Box 35: 243 of 439 (55%)
  • Box 50: 58 of 92 (63%)
  • Box 51: 72 of 940 (7%)
  • Box 62: 53 of 565 (9%)
  • Box 70: 169 of 250 (48%)
  • Box 71: 649 of 665 (97%)
  • Box 72: 570 of 664 (85%)
  • Box 73: 150 of 150 (100%)
  • Box 79: 78 of 199 (39%)
  • Box 95: 55 of 147 (37%)
  • Box 96: 525 of 539 (97%)
  • Box 97: 30 of 288 (10%)
  • Box 100: 81 of 433 (18%)
  • Box 115: 245 of 307 (79%)
  • Box 116: 184 of 864 (21%)
  • Box 139: 38 of 38 (100%)
  • Overall: 51% of the 7,464 manuscripts uploaded to the website have been transcribed thus far.

Box 72 was the most heavily transcribed during the last week, and a number of boxes are closing in completion.

If you have submitted a transcript and it has not been checked, please do get in touch: for reasons best known to itself, my email programme has been funnelling a number of submissions into the junk folder. I think I have retrieved all those so treated, but please do let us know if some of your transcripts have not been retrieved.
