  • Box 139: 38 of 38 (100%)
  • Overall: 50% of the 7,464 manuscripts uploaded to the website have been transcribed thus far.

Last week we mentioned that Box 73 was very close to completion, and it is very nearly there. Only JB/073/033/001 is untranscribed, and two more partially-transcribed manuscripts require completion. Thank you to all those who have helped out with Box 73. Box 71 was the most heavily transcribed this week, and it is also very close to completion: only twenty-one manuscripts now require transcribing before we can sign off on this batch of material. For a list of all of the untranscribed material available on the website, please head to our big master list, which is almost complete.

Thank you, as ever, to all those who have given their time and effort to transcribe an estimated 26,000 words during the past week. It remains greatly appreciated.
