I suppose it might count as a success for the argument that scientific facts are situated and partial. On scientific papers downloaded from the Informaworld site, there are now disclaimers:
“The publisher does not give any warrant express or implied or make any representation that the contents will be complete or accurate or up to date”
Despite their resounding faith in their peer review process, I’m not sure I’ll now even bother to read the one I downloaded. Instead I’ll stick with the Brothers Grimm.
