Borges Center

By ucylggg, on 13 February 2015

A ‘new’ resource has been added to the Spanish Subject in Metalib: the Borges Center

Spanish Metalib
The Borges Center offers a large collection of  Criticism, which comprises freely accessible, full-text  articles, books and dissertations,  hopefully Borges scholars will find this resource interesting and useful.

The Center is not exactly new as it was founded in 1994 at the University of Aarhus, in 2005 it  moved from Denmark to the University of Iowa and finally in 2008 to its current location: the University of Pittsburgh.

Each year of Borges’ life can be browsedBorges 2, using a timeline slider: from his birth to his death in 1986 and beyond. Each year on the timeline lists material published by or about Borges;  known bibliographical materials can be crossed-referenced and new materials discovered ….of course the Main library at UCL holds just under 300 books  written by and about Borges,  I am wondering what Borges, as Librarian,  would have made of e-books…
