Trial access to British Online Archives

UCL has trial access to British Online Archives until 9th November 2014. For off-site access to this trial, please use web WTS or Desktop@UCL Anywhere

British Online Archives is a gateway to primary sources, covering a wealth of historical themes from 1650 onwards . The growing database includes:

  • British Records on the Atlantic World, 1700-1900
  • Colonial & missionary records
  • Records of the Raj
  • People & Protest in Britain and Abroad, 1800-2000
  • Twentieth century politics
  • World War One: Different Perspectives
  • British Broadcasting Corporation
  • Communist Party of Great Britain archive
