Free OER

By Kieron L Jones, on 24 May 2012

The Open University has a large range of relevant FREE OER (open educational resource) output from radio/TV to full course units – all freely and openly available.

E.g  materials from introduction to maths and stats are available at:

http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/course/category.php?id=8

and

http://www.open.du/openlearn/science-maths-technology/mathematics-and-statistics

In addition, there are a range of ‘component’ materials in their ‘labspace’ at:

http://labspace.open.ac.uk/

One of the most attractive features of all these resources is that they can be downloaded in a variety of formats, including Moodle, and are under a creative commons license, so that they may be disassembled, edited and repurposed as need be.
