Act on Copenhagen

act on Copenhagen This site was created by the UK government to provide information on the UK government’s work in the lead up to the global climate change negotiations, in Copenhagen, December 2009, where the successor to the Kyoto Protocol was debated. It includes free access to UK government statements, statistics, policy documents and research from the Department for Energy and Climate Change and other UK official agencies. Topics covered include: UK climate projections, climate change, global warming and carbon emissions. The site also includes video reports and blogs from the conference.

The Peace Media Clearinghouse

The Peace Media Clearinghouse is a joint project of the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) and Georgetown University’s Conflict Resolution Program. It provides free access to an online collection of multimedia materials relating to peacekeeping, conflict resolution and post conflict reconstruction and reconciliation. These include documentaries, training films and videos, teaching guides, educational online games, online interviews and other broadcasts. Contributors include the USIP, United Nations and international aid and NGOs. It is possible to browse or search the website. Materials relating to specific wars/ conflicts can be found.
