Global Integrity Report

Global integrity report The Global Integrity Report is an independent US based non profit organisation which collects and publishes information on governance and corruption levels. It compiles regular reports containing comparative data on levels of integrity in many nations worldwide. The integrity indicators are based on over 20 categories which measure levels of anti-corruption in political, legal and economic institutions in the nations concerned using field work from local representatives. They include measures of the state of civil society, the rule of law and government accountability. The website provides free access to data from approximately the 1990s onwards, plus information on methodology and discussion of data collection techniques.

IPU

IPU IPU is an international organisation of parliaments of sovereign states which acts to promote parliamentary democracy and provides a forum for worldwide parliamentary dialogue. Its website is available in French or English and includes information on the structure, purpose and activities of the IPU. The full text of recent press releases from the organisation and the text of resolutions are accessible.

Also available online is PARLIT, the IPU’s searchable database of bibliographic references to books and articles relevant to the study of parliamentary law and practise. This is regularly updated and includes references for over 30,000 journal articles taken from 160 titles and 7,000 books. In addition, PARLINE – the IPU’s parliamentary database, provides information on national parliaments worldwide. Entries give general information on the parliamentary chamber, the electoral system and results from the most recent election.
