MoMA audio archives and Art Radio

MoMA’s Think Modern audio archive offers recordings of artists, scholars, critics, and writers sharing their in-depth knowledge of the Museum’s collection, exhibitions, and contemporary issues in lively symposia, readings, and discussions. The archives are a combination of audio and video formats and can be accessed by year: 2008 (includes conversations with Fiona Banner, Matthew Buckinham and Eve Sussman, Gabriel Orozco, and David Batchelor); 2007 (includes the publications of Seth Siegelaub, Roni Horn, and Richard Serra); 2006 (including Liza Bear and Willoughby Sharp on experimental magazines, Olafur Eliasson and Doug Aitken, and Christian Marclay); 2005 (including Elizabeth Murray and Isaac Julien).

Historical recordings can be found at Art Radio WPS1.org, the internet radio station of PS1 Contemporary Art Center. These recordings date from 1952-2005 and include John Baldessari and Tim Rollins from 1989, Chris Burden from 2005, Marcel Duchamp from 1962, Dieter Roth and Richard Hamilton from 1977 and many others.

Art Radio WPS1.org currently features a collection of special programmes relating to the exhibition Wack! Art and the Feminist Revolution, including Louise Bourgeois sings and interviews with Judy Chicago, Joan Jonas and Martha Rosler.
