Eighteenth Century Journals Portal

By Volkan L Akgunlu, on 3 May 2013

UCL has a 30-day trial of the Eighteenth Century Journals Portal.  This trial is available on-site, or off-site via remote WTS or UCL’s VPN.  Please note that trial access only allows users to view the articles on-screen; they cannot be downloaded or saved.

This resource comprises rare journals printed between c1685 and 1835.  Many are ephemeral, lasting only for a handful of issues; others run for several years. Topics covered include colonial life; provincial and rural affairs; the French and American revolutions; reviews of literature and fashion throughout Europe; political debates; and London coffee house gossip and discussion.

Please send feedback on this resource to your subject librarian.
