Ray Purdy

Ray was an environmental lawyer in the Centre for Law and the Environment, UCL, between 2000 and 2014. He was a Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Director of the Centre during that time. He has also held academic positions at the University of Oxford (Environmental Change Institute) and Imperial College (Centre for Environmental Policy). He is now founder and Director of two companies. The first, Ecocentric, is an environmental law and policy consultancy which primarily undertakes interesting research work for European institutions. The second, Air and Space Evidence, is the worlds first “space detective agency” which Fast Company magazine  (America’s most influential business magazine) identified as one of fourteen ideas of 2015 that they believe will change the world.
