Following a review of the former Learning Technology and Media Services (LTMS) teams in ISD, it has been decided to change the names of the individual teams

    1. Digital Media (formerly Creative Media Services)
    2. Digital Education (formely E-learning Environments or ELE)
    3. Digital Presence (formerly Web & Mobile Services or WAMS)

There are no changes to email addresses such as silva-support@ucl.ac.uk and web-support@ucl.ac.uk.

    Silva editing broken in Chrome

By Joel Hardman, on 22 May 2015

    **Update**

The fix has now been rolled out so editing should work in Chrome again – please hard refresh you page if you are still having problems (CTRL F5 / CMD F5)

    *******

It looks like Chrome has recently updated and broken Silva editing – the save button doesn’t work.

So please use Firefox to edit.

    Disabled publishing ‘in the future’

By Web and Mobile Services (WAMS) , on 19 February 2015

    Dear Silva users,

If there are any Silva Editors out there who have used a facility in Silva to put a future date when a certain page should be published,
please take note: we have had to disable this particular feature.

If you’re not sure what this means, you’ve probably never used used it… so ignore.

If you have any questions regarding this, do email silva-support@ucl.ac.uk

    Thanks.

    Finding info for Silva CMS

By Web and Mobile Services (WAMS) , on 5 February 2015

Since we changed the ISD website, some of you may have found it hard to find guidance on how to do certain things in Silva.

I’ve made some changes: you will find all the ‘how-to’ guides as before.

You now also have information about what you can do in Silva and the training, manuals etc.
