How can technology transform education?

By Matt Jenner, on 31 January 2011

Lord David Puttnam talked at the Learning Without Frontiers conference in January 2011. He asked the question ‘how can technology transform education?’ and ‘Why are we still using victorian teaching practises where we are seeking the same result but (with technology) a little faster?’, in summary he argues we must regain or “retain the trust of the younger generations and we must engage with their world and we need to learn to view technology in their eyes and to see it as transformative, not simply an add-on.”

Lord Puttnam talks on the future of the creative and digital industries and how must not abandon technology and instead  embrace technology and what will the world look like in 2025?
