Content Freeze will start 4pm on Friday, 8 February and end Monday 18th
New Improved UCL Blogs Coming Soon! We are pleased to announce that the new UCL Blogs will launch this Month.
Further to emails informing you of the content Freeze, this will take place between 8-18th February.
The content freeze will allow us to migrate your blogs from the current platform to the new improved WordPress platform.
How will this impact you?
- Existing Blogs will remain live and active;
- Users will not be able to update, post or edit your blog during this period; and
- No new blogs will be able to be created.
We will communicate to you by email after the content freeze on what you need to do.
UCL Blogs is managed by Digital Presence
UCL WordPress blogs were successfully upgraded on December 12th, 2017 to WordPress 4.8.3
The blogging service is available to UCL departments, research groups, centres and other bodies.
We regret that, in most cases, we cannot import other themes or plugins, but each time we upgrade,
we test the requested plugins and if the test is positive, we will add the requested plugin.
So if you would like a particular plugin, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
